Useful for detecting myoglobin-containing tubular casts within renal tubules. However, it is not recommended for identifying rhabdomyosarcoma, as more specific markers are available for that purpose.

Three (3) unstained slides per requested test, plus one to two (1–2) additional unstained slides, cut at 4 µm thickness
Use cold pack for transport. Make sure cold pack is not indirect contact with specimen.
