TTF-1

Identifies a nuclear transcription factor primarily expressed in lung and thyroid neoplasms. It is present in most lung carcinomas (non-neuroendocrine and endocrine) and nearly all thyroid carcinomas except anaplastic types. This marker is useful in distinguishing primary from metastatic carcinomas, particularly in the lung.
